    Explore The Baa Atoll Biosphere

    The Baa Atoll is situated just north of the Kashidhoo Kandhoo channel and geographically dividing the northern chain of atolls and was crowned with UNESCO Biosphere Reserve status in 2011 for its marine diversity. Baa Atoll is a diver's paradise and is known for its plethora of coral reefs – with over 250 different species – and most famously home to one of the largest concentrations of manta rays in the world. The iconic Hanifaru Bay is only 18km from the resort; and one of the few places in the world where one can observe the manta rays’ distinctive “Cyclone” feeding behavior. Snorkeling at Hanifaru Bay is an enchanting and unforgettable experience, a must for your visit to Baa Atoll.
